The odds

The odds were always in our favour all we needed was to roll the dice
That’s when we separated men from cowards the ones that refused to take a chance
Brushes on easels, swords on sharpen
We going for the whole cake, why take just a slice?

The dice were forever kind, our tables forever dined
Our luck was destiny and wins formality
Never say we didn’t try, we were in it for the win
Undaunted, persistent, resilient in the wind
