Up the mountain

Clawing my way out of the cloudy rocks
Feeling the thin air hit my weary lungs
Rather than climbing mountains I dig to the top
You get to know her a bit better, the heart of a rock

I’ve seen the snow dance with lava beneath the giant peaks
I’ve seen rocks rise from fiery molten cradles
I’ve seen it on my ascent to her icy face
Flowing through her warm bright heart is a river no man can drink
