A sweet life it is

I remember the day my house floated into whirling clouds of bubbles and jelly babies
And it migrated with the other homes to landscapes of ice cream scoops
They go where they are needed, to shelter the cold and needy
And now that it’s summer, we can enjoy warm caramel skies and popcorn lawns at night

You know they say a spinning jawbreaker gathers no moss
Let’s test that theory on a field of a billion sprinkles
Let the child in us sled down marshmallow hills
And land on a bed of fluffy cotton candy flowers

Life isn’t perfect but I’d say it’s sweet enough
The world isn’t always pretty but we can dream it up
